An E-commerce Hotelier Event Held In Jakarta, Indonesia

An exclusive e-commerce hoteliers’ event was jointly organized by RDP, UnionPay Indonesia International and Chope Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 14 February 2019. The event was a great success with attendees from senior managers to top management, coming in with keen interest to understand the e-commerce opportunities presented for hotels and F&B in Indonesia.

During the presentation by the 3 organizations, they spoke of the services and solutions which would bring about potential growth and new sales opportunities, at the same time, improving the customer experience for online transactions.

UnionPay International Indonesia’s representative, Hilary Andhika, shared that with increasing inbound tourists from China and the impact on the hospitality sector, UnionPay card acceptance will be able to cater to the payment needs of the Chinese tourists.

Head of sales, Hiro Mohinani of Chope Indonesia, followed up with the advantage of using mobile reservation system through Chope and the benefit of bringing convenience to the businesses and diners. Mr Mohinani, went on to mention that with RDP’s payment solutions, diners will experience from payment of a reservation and rewards with its usage.

Finally, RDP‘s Head of Sales for Indonesia, Grandi Yusuf also took the opportunity to present RDP’s payment solutions, catering specifically to the hotel and F&B industries. Ranging from RDP Connect, payment gateway and e-invoicing solution using InstanCollect and showcasing how customizable the solutions can be catered to the needs of the businesses.

After the presentation and FAQ, the networking lunch session, which is one of the highlights of the event, provided engagement opportunities and discussion among the attendees and the presenters. Lastly, door gifts and flowers were presented to each of our attendees for taking the precious time to participate in this exclusive event.
