What is a merchant account? Can I open one through Red Dot Payment?
A merchant account is like a business account but specifically used to process and accept credit card payments. It is where you will receive payment. You will need to open this account through banks.
How long does it take to set up the payment gateway?
It can be done in 3 working days. However, this does not include the bank application process, and can depend on the complexity of the customisation services you require for your e-commerce.

Do you supply card terminals if I have a physical shop?
Unfortunately we do not. Since e-commerce is the way to go, why not consider accepting online payments using your smartphone or tablet?
How do I get more information about a Red Dot Payment transaction on my bank statement?
Please provide us with the following so we can check and get back to you as soon as possible:
I bought something from one of your merchants but did not receive a confirmation email. Did my transaction go through?
Refresh your email inbox and check the spam/junk folder in your email. If there is still no confirmation email after 15 minutes, please contact us through our contact form with the subject head as “Consumer Support” and provide the following:
My bank statement shows a particular Red Dot Payment transaction but I did not make this payment. What should I do?
Call your credit card issuing bank and inform them of the transaction. You are strongly advised to consult your bank and raise a chargeback.
I would like a refund. How do I do that?
Please contact the merchant/seller directly to request for a refund and provide them with these transaction details:
I don’t see my refund. What’s happening?
It will take up to 30 working days for the bank to process your refund. For further confirmation, contact your credit card issuing bank immediately.
I received an email stating a refund was made back to me. Was my order cancelled?
There are many reasons and to be sure of your status, kindly contact your merchant.
I would like to get more information on integrating the API. What can I do?

What shopping cart plugins do you support?
Integration with shopping carts is possible.
Customisation of shopping cart plugins will involve an additional cost.
I want to integrate with a refund API. Can Red Dot Payment support this integration?
Yes, our payment gateway and systems are able to do so. Please inform your respective account manager and your web developer (if any) directly.
I want to reconcile my online sales transactions and the financial reports. Is this possible?
